Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization which places highly trained Service Dogs, Hearing Dogs, Facility Dogs, Skilled Companions and Assistance Dogs for Veterans. Steelhead Surgical is currently involved as a volunteer puppy raiser, puppy Iva enters professional training in February 2020.

Central Valley High School Alumni Association
Steelhead Surgical has sponsored an annual scholarship for the last five years, presented in memory of Sondra Ault awarded to one outstanding student each year. In addition, in 2017 an additional scholarship was added as the Harry Ault Academic Scholarship.
